The 29mm casing fits my rocket perfectly, and the motor pack gives a smooth, powerful burn that sent it straight up. I got a perfect ejection charge on my first flight with no issues at all.

The 10-second burn on this G40 is way punchier than the Estes motors I flew as a kid, and my 3-inch rocket disappeared into the clouds before I even heard the ejection charge. Composite propellant really does smell different, sort of like a burnt match dipped in caramel.

I was surprised how smooth the thrust curve felt compared to the lower-end motors I've used before. The composite propellant definitely has a cleaner burn, though the 29mm casing made it a bit tight to fit in my rocket’s mount.
