Glued these directly to my scratch-built 2.6 inch airframe instead of messing with a Fin-Lok mount, and they seated flush with barely any sanding. The high impact polystyrene feels dense and stiff, way better than the soft balsa fins I used to cut by hand.

Bought these as replacements after cracking a fin on a hard landing, and the molded polystyrene is way stiffer than the balsa I used to glue on. They dropped right into the 2.6 inch Fin-Lok mounts with no sanding needed. Flights have been dead straight since.

The molded fins are a perfect match for my 2.6 inch Fin-Lok mount, and the high impact polystyrene feels really sturdy compared to balsa. I glued one on directly with no issues, so I’m stocked for a second build.
