The threads are clean and the case fits the reload kits perfectly, had no issues seating the closure after three flights. Machining is solid for the price, definitely getting another one for the 1706 lineup.

Finally got around to flying the 1706 reload in this aluminum case and the fit was spot-on, no rattling or binding during assembly. The 54mm build feels solid in hand, and the case threaded together smoothly after a few uses.

I’ve used this case with the 1706 reloads, and the threads are machined perfectly—no binding during assembly. It held up well to a hard burn, and the anodized finish still looks clean after multiple flights.
