Ordered this as a replacement after a hard landing cracked my original, and the 2.638 inch outer diameter slid into the coupler with no sanding needed. The 15 inch length gives plenty of room for the recovery harness without adding much weight.

The 0.04 inch wall feels noticeably sturdier than the thinner tubes I've used before, and it slid into my 2.6 inch nose cone without any sanding. Fifteen inches gave me just enough length to rebuild the mid section after my last hard landing.
