Quest SuperBird™ Model Rocket Kit - Q2010

The slow, floating descent from 1,100 feet is hypnotic—those dual chutes pop cleanly every time, and the whole flight feels way more graceful than your typical rocket. I’ve launched it a few times now and the build held up solid, even after a couple of grass-crunching landings.

The dual parachutes really earn their keep—the descent is so slow and graceful that I actually got a solid minute of watching it drift back instead of just a quick thud. Assembly took an evening, but the payoff was a smooth 1,100-foot flight that had everyone at the field looking up.

Watching the SuperBird reach that 1,100 foot mark is a real thrill, and the dual parachutes make the descent just as fun to follow. It flies slow and steady, so you don't blink and miss it. A great kit for a lazy afternoon launch.
