Perfect for small groups and family rocket outings!

Quest Q-Jets are the world's most advanced 18mm model rocket motors. Q-Jet™ high performance, composite propellant model rocket motors use the same family of solid propellant as NASA’s Space Shuttle Boosters, military missiles, sounding rockets, and NASA’s future SLS moon rocket. They utilize a patent pending high-strength polymer case and bulkhead, ceramic nozzle and RCSs exclusive White Lightning™ aerospace grade composite propellant formulation, which produces nearly double the specific impulse (or ISP, a propellant efficiency rating) of conventional black powder propellant. They are not susceptible to thermal cycling like black powder motors. Q-Jet™ White Lightning™ rocket motors deliver a brilliant white exhaust plume, dense bright white smoke trail and a throaty roar as the hallmarks of this popular propellant. Easy to track. Exciting to watch!

This Q-Jet™ 25-Motor Value Pack comes complete with 29 FirstFire™ Micro Initiators and bright orange Parachute Recovery Wadding. All Q-Jet™ motors are U.S. mailable with no hazmat fee!

Certified by the Tripoli Rocketry Association (TRA), the National Association of Rocketry (NAR) and the Canadian Association of Rocketry (CAR).

David ★★★★★

The composite propellant burns way more consistently than the old black powder motors I used as a kid, and the six-second delay gives a nice gentle coast before the chute pops. Thirty-eight bucks for 25 of these is a steal for a whole afternoon of launches with the family.

Emily L. ★★★★★

These little motors fit perfectly in our family’s starter rockets, and the 25-pack means we didn’t have to ration flights on a sunny afternoon. The composite propellant lit cleanly every time, no duds in the whole box, which made the day feel worth every penny.

Aurora ★★★★★

The composite propellant burns so much smoother than the old black powder engines, and having 25 in one pack means we didn't run out halfway through the afternoon. My son and I got through eight launches before the wind picked up, and every single one lit on the first try.
