Enerjet G80-13T mid-power motors are single-use composite propellant model rocket motors. These high performance, composite propellant model rocket motors use the same family of solid propellant as NASA’s Space Shuttle Boosters, military missiles, sounding rockets, and NASA’s future SLS moon rocket. They utilize a patent pending high-strength polymer case and bulkhead, polymer nozzle and RCSs exclusive Blue Thunder™ aerospace grade composite propellant formulation, which produces a gorgeous bright violet-blue flame with a minimum of exhaust smoke. Blue Thunder™ motors provide a higher level of thrust than White Lightning™ motors of the same total impulse and are perfect for high lift-off acceleration.

This Enerjet motor pack comes with 1 rocket motor and 1 FirstFire™ Jr. Initiator.  The sale of this high power motor to persons under 18 years of age is currently prohibited by federal law.

Certified by the Tripoli Rocketry Association (TRA), the National Association of Rocketry (NAR) and the Canadian Association of Rocketry (CAR).

Brian ★★★★★

My son used this for his rocketry project and the delay times were exactly as specified, giving a textbook deployment at apogee. The composite propellant gave a steady, bright flame that was really satisfying to watch climb.

Aurora G. ★★★★★

The G80-13T lit on the first try and the composite propellant burned with a clean, steady flame all the way up. I flew it on a calm day and the delay was spot-on, popping the chute right at apogee. For the price, you're getting a reliable single-use motor that does exactly what it says.

Chloe ★★★★★

I was impressed with how consistently the thrust built from ignition through burnout. The composite propellant gave a solid, clean burn without any sputtering. Perfect for my mid-power rocket.
