Perfect for classroom programs, large groups and camp activities!

Quest Q-Jets are the world's most advanced 18mm model rocket motors. Q-Jet™ high performance, composite propellant model rocket motors use the same family of solid propellant as NASA’s Space Shuttle Boosters, military missiles, sounding rockets, and NASA’s future SLS moon rocket. They utilize a patent pending high-strength polymer case and bulkhead, ceramic nozzle and RCSs exclusive White Lightning™ aerospace grade composite propellant formulation, which produces nearly double the specific impulse (or ISP, a propellant efficiency rating) of conventional black powder propellant. They are not susceptible to thermal cycling like black powder motors. Q-Jet™ White Lightning™ rocket motors deliver a brilliant white exhaust plume, dense bright white smoke trail and a throaty roar as the hallmarks of this popular propellant. Easy to track. Exciting to watch!

This Q-Jet™ 25-Motor Value Pack comes complete with 29 FirstFire™ Micro Initiators and bright orange Parachute Recovery Wadding. All Q-Jet™ motors are U.S. mailable with no hazmat fee!

Certified by the Tripoli Rocketry Association (TRA), the National Association of Rocketry (NAR) and the Canadian Association of Rocketry (CAR).

Benjamin ★★★★★

Bought the 25-pack for our scout troop's launch day and every single motor fired clean with that bright white flame. The 18mm size drops right into our beginner rockets, so the kids could load them without help. Way less cleanup than the old black powder motors we used to deal with.

Julian ★★★★★

The composite propellant in these gives a much cleaner, more consistent flight than the old black powder motors I used to mess with. Twenty-five in a pack is plenty for a full day of launches with a big group, and none of them have failed to light yet.

Ellie U. ★★★★★

These motors lit instantly every single time, which made running launches with a big group of kids way less stressful. The 25-pack is a solid value for a classroom or camp setting, and the composite propellant gave noticeably smoother flights than the standard motors we’d used before.
