The AeroTech Reloadable Motor System RMS is an aluminum cased reusable motor in kit form that is assembled by the user. You will need AeroTech RMS-38/720 motor hardware to build and complete the motor for many reliable flights. Motor hardware is available separately in a complete set, and also as individual parts. This motor requires installing a 38mm Forward Seal Disc during assembly. Important: High Power RMS reload kits are not compatible with Mid Power RMS products. You will need to set the desired delay time using the 18-38mm Delay Drilling Tool (RDDT), Not Included. The 18-38mm Delay Drilling Tool (RDDT) is available in the AeroTech Accessories section of this website.

This RMS motor reload utilizes RCSs exclusive Redline™ aerospace grade composite propellant formulation, which produces a visible scarlet flame. Redline™ motors burning rate lies midway between that of White Lightning™ and Blue Thunder™. Photos don’t do justice to the “laser-beam” intensity and color of Redline™…. you have to see it to appreciate it!

The AeroTech motor reload kit comes with 1 rocket motor reload. Reload kits include all internal motor components and FirstFire™ Initiators. Requires HAZMAT shipping via UPS or FEDEX. The sale of this high power motor to persons under 18 years of age is currently prohibited by federal law. This is a High-Power motor requiring Level 1 High-Power certification through NAR or Tripoli to purchase. Orders containing this item will not be shipped until proof of age (such as a copy of a driver’s license) and proof of Level 1 certification is received.

Certified by the Tripoli Rocketry Association (TRA), the National Association of Rocketry (NAR) and the Canadian Association of Rocketry (CAR).

Aurora ★★★★★

Assembly was straightforward once I got the hang of it, and the aluminum casing took the whole thing together without any wobble. Fired it twice with my existing RMS-38 hardware and it burned clean both times. Exactly what I needed for a solid afternoon of launches.

Zoe K. ★★★★★

I've used these reload kits with my RMS-38 hardware and they're super straightforward to assemble — the instructions are clear and the fit is precise, giving consistent burns every time.

Richard D. ★★★★★

The aluminum casing threaded together perfectly with my existing RMS-38 hardware, and the reload kit packed in everything I needed for assembly. Burned through my first flight with no issues, though I’d suggest a clean bench before starting since the propellant grains are easy to misalign if you rus
