The AeroTech Reloadable Motor System RMS is an aluminum cased reusable motor in kit form that is assembled by the user. You will need AeroTech RMS-98/7680 motor hardware to build and complete the motor for many reliable flights. Motor hardware is available separately in a complete set, and also as individual parts. This motor requires installing a forward seal disc (98FSD) during assembly. Important: High Power RMS reload kits are not compatible with Mid Power RMS products.

The M2400T-PS is a Plugged/Smoke motor reload. Plugged reload kits do not utilize a motor-actuated delay or ejection charge. Plugged motors must be used in conjunction with a timer, altimeter or radio-activated recovery system.

This RMS motor reload utilizes RCSs exclusive Blue Thunder™ aerospace grade composite propellant formulation, which produces a gorgeous bright violet-blue flame with a minimum of exhaust smoke. Blue Thunder™ motors provide a higher level of thrust than White Lightning™ motors of the same total impulse and are perfect for high lift-off acceleration.

The AeroTech motor reload kit comes with 1 rocket motor reload. Reload kits include all internal motor components and FirstFire™ Initiators. Requires HAZMAT shipping via UPS or FEDEX. The sale of this high power motor to persons under 18 years of age is currently prohibited by federal law. This is a High-Power motor requiring Level 3 High-Power certification through NAR or Tripoli to purchase. Orders containing this item will not be shipped until proof of age (such as a copy of a driver’s license) and proof of Level 3 certification is received. Also, this motor requires U.S. State Department Licensing (SDL) for export (international shipments).

Certified by the Tripoli Rocketry Association (TRA), the National Association of Rocketry (NAR) and the Canadian Association of Rocketry (CAR).

Daniel O. ★★★★★

Assembling this kit was straightforward once I got the hang of the liner placement, and the reusable aluminum casing feels solid enough to trust for many flights to come. Paired with the right hardware, it loaded cleanly and delivered a consistent, powerful burn that made the whole build worthwhile.

Evelyn T. ★★★★★

The aluminum casing feels reassuringly solid, and the reload fit into the RMS-98/7680 hardware without any forcing or gaps. This kit flew perfectly on my first try after a straightforward assembly—exactly what I needed for a high-power project.

Timothy L. ★★★★☆

Everything needed for the reload was in the box and the grains slid into the case without any sanding or fitting. Only gripe is that the instructions assume you already know the o-ring sequence, so a first-timer might want a video handy. Once assembled it's a solid, reusable setup.
