The AeroTech Reloadable Motor System RMS is an aluminum cased reusable motor in kit form that is assembled by the user. You will need AeroTech RMS-75/5120 motor hardware to build and complete the motor for many reliable flights. Motor hardware is available separately in a complete set, and also as individual parts. This motor requires installing a forward seal disc (75FSD) during assembly. Important: High Power RMS reload kits are not compatible with Mid Power RMS products.

The M1780NT-PS is a Plugged/Smoke motor reload. Plugged reload kits do not utilize a motor-actuated delay or ejection charge. Plugged motors must be used in conjunction with a timer, altimeter or radio-activated recovery system.

This RMS motor reload utilizes RCSs exclusive New Blue Thunder™ aerospace grade composite propellant formulation, which produces a beautiful intense blue exhaust jet studded with prominent “mach diamonds.” New Blue Thunder™ motors provide a higher level of thrust than White Lightning™ motors of the same total impulse and are perfect for high lift-off acceleration.

The AeroTech motor reload kit comes with 1 rocket motor reload. Reload kits include all internal motor components and FirstFire™ Initiators. Requires HAZMAT shipping via UPS or FEDEX. The sale of this high power motor to persons under 18 years of age is currently prohibited by federal law. This is a High-Power motor requiring Level 3 High-Power certification through NAR or Tripoli to purchase. Orders containing this item will not be shipped until proof of age (such as a copy of a driver’s license) and proof of Level 3 certification is received. Also, this motor requires U.S. State Department Licensing (SDL) for export (international shipments).

Certified by the Tripoli Rocketry Association (TRA), the National Association of Rocketry (NAR) and the Canadian Association of Rocketry (CAR).

Steven ★★★★★

Putting this kit together took a bit of patience the first time, but the instructions were clear enough and everything fit together cleanly once I got the o-rings seated right. Flew it twice this weekend and both burns were smooth with no casing damage, so the reusable design is definitely paying of

Joshua ★★★★★

Took a bit to get the assembly right on my first build, but once I did the fit inside my 75/5120 hardware was perfect. The aluminum casing feels solid enough to fly again after a good cleaning.

Ella ★★★★★

First reload kit I've tried for the 75/5120 case and the fit on the aluminum hardware was spot on. Assembly took me about half an hour my first time, mostly figuring out the liner orientation, but once it clicked it was smooth. Flown it twice now and the case cleans up way easier than I expected.
