The AeroTech Reloadable Motor System RMS is an aluminum cased reusable motor in kit form that is assembled by the user. You will need AeroTech RMS-75/5120 motor hardware to build and complete the motor for many reliable flights. Motor hardware is available separately in a complete set, and also as individual parts. This motor requires installing a forward seal disc (75FSD) during assembly. Important: High Power RMS reload kits are not compatible with Mid Power RMS products.

The L2200G-PS is a Plugged/Smoke motor reload. Plugged reload kits do not utilize a motor-actuated delay or ejection charge. Plugged motors must be used in conjunction with a timer, altimeter or radio-activated recovery system.

This RMS motor reload utilizes RCSs exclusive Mojave Green™ aerospace grade composite propellant formulation, which produces a brilliant green exhaust plume with a moderate amount of smoke. Mojave Green™ motors high density and specific impulse delivers a higher total impulse in each motor size than any other AeroTech propellant.

The AeroTech motor reload kit comes with 1 rocket motor reload. Reload kits include all internal motor components and FirstFire™ Initiators. Requires HAZMAT shipping via UPS or FEDEX. The sale of this high power motor to persons under 18 years of age is currently prohibited by federal law. This is a High-Power motor requiring Level 2 High-Power certification through NAR or Tripoli to purchase. Orders containing this item will not be shipped until proof of age (such as a copy of a driver’s license) and proof of Level 2 certification is received. Also, this motor requires U.S. State Department Licensing (SDL) for export (international shipments).

Certified by the Tripoli Rocketry Association (TRA), the National Association of Rocketry (NAR) and the Canadian Association of Rocketry (CAR).

Amelia G. ★★★★★

The aluminum casing feels rock solid, and the reload components fit together cleanly with no fuss. I've flown it twice now and the burns were impressively consistent, definitely worth the careful assembly time.

Amelia Z. ★★★★★

Got this for a high-power build and the 75mm hardware fit perfectly with no issues. The aluminum casing felt solid and the propellant grains slid in cleanly. Really impressed with how smooth the burn was on the first flight.

Natalie ★★★★★

The assembly was straightforward once I matched the components to the instructions—my first reload went together cleanly. The aluminum casing feels really solid and the motor fired perfectly on the pad.
