The AeroTech Reloadable Motor System RMS is an aluminum cased reusable motor in kit form that is assembled by the user. You will need AeroTech RMS-75/3840 motor hardware to build and complete the motor for many reliable flights. Motor hardware is available separately in a complete set, and also as individual parts. This motor requires installing a forward seal disc (75FSD) during assembly. Important: High Power RMS reload kits are not compatible with Mid Power RMS products.

The L1150R-PS is a Plugged/Smoke motor reload. Plugged reload kits do not utilize a motor-actuated delay or ejection charge. Plugged motors must be used in conjunction with a timer, altimeter or radio-activated recovery system.

This RMS motor reload utilizes RCSs exclusive Redline™ aerospace grade composite propellant formulation, which produces a visible scarlet flame. Redline™ motors burning rate lies midway between that of White Lightning™ and Blue Thunder™. Photos don’t do justice to the “laser-beam” intensity and color of Redline™…. you have to see it to appreciate it!

The AeroTech motor reload kit comes with 1 rocket motor reload. Reload kits include all internal motor components and FirstFire™ Initiators. Requires HAZMAT shipping via UPS or FEDEX. The sale of this high power motor to persons under 18 years of age is currently prohibited by federal law. This is a High-Power motor requiring Level 2 High-Power certification through NAR or Tripoli to purchase. Orders containing this item will not be shipped until proof of age (such as a copy of a driver’s license) and proof of Level 2 certification is received.

Certified by the Tripoli Rocketry Association (TRA), the National Association of Rocketry (NAR) and the Canadian Association of Rocketry (CAR).

Adam D. ★★★★★

Took this reload kit out to the desert last weekend and the assembly went smoother than I expected for a 75mm motor. The aluminum casing feels solid and I love that I can just buy a new kit instead of a whole new motor every time. Burned perfectly on the way up.

Ryan ★★★★★

I was nervous about assembling my first reload, but the grains seated cleanly into the 3840 casing and the instructions were straightforward. Burn was smooth and consistent the whole way through. Already planning to grab another kit for the next launch.

Brian ★★★★★

Swapped out the spent grains on my 3840 case and this kit went together with zero fuss, the o-rings seated cleanly on the first try. The liner slipped in easier than the last batch I built, and the delay stayed consistent across both flights that weekend.
