Slow-Cure™ 30 min. epoxy works best for forming reinforcing fillets on joints. It has the highest strength of our epoxies. It is waterproof and more heat resistant. Slow-Cure™ can be used for bonding if you’re willing to wait overnight. Fillers such as microballoons can be mixed with Slow-Cure™ to form a putty-like consistency. Such fillers will usually decrease the working time by about 25%. Bonded objects can be handled after 8 hours and the cured epoxy reaches full strength within 24 hours.

Amelia ★★★★★

I used this for reinforcing fillets on a cedar strip build and it sets up with plenty of working time to smooth things out before it starts to kick. The heat resistance is a real plus since my shop gets warm in summer.

Mixed it for the fillets on a plywood boat seam and it stayed workable long enough to shape everything without rushing. Cured hard as a rock and the heat resistance held up fine near the engine mount. Waterproof claim seems legit so far after a few wet weekends.

Ella W. ★★★★★

The 30 minute working time is what sold me — no panic trying to position clamps before it sets up. I used it to build fillets on a plywood boat hull and the joints came out rock solid, plus it sands way easier than the fast stuff.
