Quest Q-Jets are the world's most advanced 18mm model rocket motors. Q-Jet™ high performance, composite propellant model rocket motors use the same family of solid propellant as NASA’s Space Shuttle Boosters, military missiles, sounding rockets, and NASA’s future SLS moon rocket. They utilize a patent pending high-strength polymer case and bulkhead, ceramic nozzle and RCSs exclusive Black Max™ aerospace grade composite propellant formulation, which produces nearly double the specific impulse (or ISP, a propellant efficiency rating) of conventional black powder propellant. They are not susceptible to thermal cycling like black powder motors. Q-Jet™ rocket motors deliver faster lift-offs, visible exhaust plume, denser dark tracking smoke & increased reliability at lift-off.

This Q-Jet™ 25-Motor Value Pack comes complete with 29 FirstFire™ Micro Initiators and bright orange Parachute Recovery Wadding. All Q-Jet™ motors are U.S. mailable with no hazmat fee!

Certified by the Tripoli Rocketry Association (TRA), the National Association of Rocketry (NAR) and the Canadian Association of Rocketry (CAR).

Joshua A. ★★★★★

Picked these up for a school rocket club and the consistency from motor to motor has been impressive—no duds in the whole box. The 25-pack pricing makes it easy to keep a whole launch session moving without stopping to reload constantly.

George ★★★★★

Bought a box for our son's scout troop and the 25-pack made it easy to split among a dozen kids. The Q-Jets lit reliably every time, even in a light breeze, and the launch delay was spot-on. Only wish the clearance warning meant I could grab another set.

Emma D. ★★★★★

These hit the sweet spot for our launch day—twenty-five motors meant every single kid in the camp got two flights without us scrambling for extras. They're the 18mm size, so they fit our standard fleet perfectly, and the performance was impressively consistent across the whole pack.
