Perfect for small groups and family rocket outings!

Quest Q-Jets are the world's most advanced 18mm model rocket motors. Q-Jet™ high performance, composite propellant model rocket motors use the same family of solid propellant as NASA’s Space Shuttle Boosters, military missiles, sounding rockets, and NASA’s future SLS moon rocket. They utilize a patent pending high-strength polymer case and bulkhead, ceramic nozzle and RCSs exclusive White Lightning™ aerospace grade composite propellant formulation, which produces nearly double the specific impulse (or ISP, a propellant efficiency rating) of conventional black powder propellant. They are not susceptible to thermal cycling like black powder motors. Q-Jet™ White Lightning™ rocket motors deliver a brilliant white exhaust plume, dense bright white smoke trail and a throaty roar as the hallmarks of this popular propellant. Easy to track. Exciting to watch!

This Q-Jet™ 12-Motor Value Pack comes complete with 14 FirstFire™ Micro Initiators and bright orange Parachute Recovery Wadding. All Q-Jet™ motors are U.S.mailable with no hazmat fee!

Certified by the Tripoli Rocketry Association (TRA), the National Association of Rocketry (NAR) and the Canadian Association of Rocketry (CAR).

Sophia ★★★★★

Picked up this 12-pack for a weekend launch with the kids, and the composite propellant really gives a consistent, reliable burn each time. Even in a light breeze, the motors ignited without a hitch and sent our rockets soaring.

Matthew ★★★★★

First one I've used flew straight and true, igniting instantly with a satisfying crackle. My son's face lit up watching the smoke trail—definitely the most reliable 18mm motors we've tried so far.

Amelia R. ★★★★★

The four flights we did with these were flawless, and the composite propellant burns noticeably more smoothly than the old black-powder motors. For a family outing, having a full 12-pack in the box means we didn't have to ration launches.
