Perfect for small groups and family rocket outings!

Quest Q-Jets are the world's most advanced 18mm model rocket motors. Q-Jet™ high performance, composite propellant model rocket motors use the same family of solid propellant as NASA’s Space Shuttle Boosters, military missiles, sounding rockets, and NASA’s future SLS moon rocket. They utilize a patent pending high-strength polymer case and bulkhead, ceramic nozzle and RCSs exclusive Black Max™ aerospace grade composite propellant formulation, which produces nearly double the specific impulse (or ISP, a propellant efficiency rating) of conventional black powder propellant. They are not susceptible to thermal cycling like black powder motors. Q-Jet™ rocket motors deliver faster lift-offs, visible exhaust plume, denser dark tracking smoke & increased reliability at lift-off.

This Q-Jet™ 12-Motor Value Pack comes complete with 14 FirstFire™ Micro Initiators and bright orange Parachute Recovery Wadding. All Q-Jet™ motors are U.S.mailable with no hazmat fee!

Certified by the Tripoli Rocketry Association (TRA), the National Association of Rocketry (NAR) and the Canadian Association of Rocketry (CAR).

Evelyn O. ★★★★★

The composite propellant gives a much cleaner burn than the old black powder motors I used to fly, and the 18mm size fits all my smaller rockets. Twelve in a pack meant the kids got to launch again and again without me rationing them.

Carter ★★★★★

Our launch day went perfectly smooth with all twelve motors firing without a single misfire, which is more than I can say for other packs we’ve tried. The composite propellant gives a noticeably steadier burn than the old black powder ones, and they’re just as easy to prep for a quick afternoon with

Evelyn ★★★★★

These Q-Jets lit up consistently on the first try every single time, even with a bit of a breeze. The composite propellant gave a noticeably smoother burn and a satisfying crackle that the kids talked about for days. Great value to keep a small group launching all afternoon.
