The AeroTech Reloadable Motor System RMS is an aluminum cased reusable motor in kit form that is assembled by the user. You will need AeroTech RMS-98/7680 motor hardware to build and complete the motor for many reliable flights. Motor hardware is available separately in a complete set, and also as individual parts. This motor requires installing a forward seal disc (98FSD) during assembly. Important: High Power RMS reload kits are not compatible with Mid Power RMS products.

The M1845NT-PS is a Plugged/Smoke motor reload. Plugged reload kits do not utilize a motor-actuated delay or ejection charge. Plugged motors must be used in conjunction with a timer, altimeter or radio-activated recovery system.

This RMS motor reload utilizes RCSs exclusive New Blue Thunder™ aerospace grade composite propellant formulation, which produces a beautiful intense blue exhaust jet studded with prominent “mach diamonds.” New Blue Thunder™ motors provide a higher level of thrust than White Lightning™ motors of the same total impulse and are perfect for high lift-off acceleration.

The AeroTech motor reload kit comes with 1 rocket motor reload. Reload kits include all internal motor components and FirstFire™ Initiators. Requires HAZMAT shipping via UPS or FEDEX. The sale of this high power motor to persons under 18 years of age is currently prohibited by federal law. This is a High-Power motor requiring Level 3 High-Power certification through NAR or Tripoli to purchase. Orders containing this item will not be shipped until proof of age (such as a copy of a driver’s license) and proof of Level 3 certification is received. Also, this motor requires U.S. State Department Licensing (SDL) for export (international shipments).

Certified by the Tripoli Rocketry Association (TRA), the National Association of Rocketry (NAR) and the Canadian Association of Rocketry (CAR).

Ellie ★★★★★

The machining on the aluminum casing is incredibly precise—it fit into my existing hardware without any sanding or fuss. Ignition was crisp and the burn was perfectly consistent throughout the flight. Only wish the instructions included a torque spec for the forward closure.

Victoria ★★★★★

First flight with this reload kit and the burn was incredibly smooth — the aluminum casing fit my existing RMS-98 hardware perfectly with zero fuss during assembly. It’s a solid, reusable setup that’s worth every penny if you’re already into high-power rocketry.

Daniel ★★★★★

Assembling this kit took me about twenty minutes, and the precision of the machined aluminum threads makes for a satisfyingly snug fit against the casing. Can't wait to fly this on a proper L-class field.
