Perfect for small groups and family rocket outings!

The Astra III Classroom Value Pack of 12 rockets are perfect for schools, camps, clubs and youth group programs including the Civil Air Patrol, 4H, Starbase and Scouting’s Space Exploration Merit Badge requirements.

Bright, bold and rugged, the Astra III is one of our bestselling rockets. Part of our Quick-Kit family, it features a unique plastic fin-can assembly. It is a great kit for groups who have already built one of our Skill Level 1 rockets with a one-piece molded fin-unit like the Viper. It requires a little more skill to assemble, as individual fins are fitted and glued into the center fin-can unit, but still goes together very easy and fast.

Quest Skill Level 1 Quick-Kits do not require painting or finishing beyond the application of self-adhesive decals and can usually be completed in 45 to 90 minutes or less.

These kits require assembly. Hobby glues, finishing supplies, building tools, launch system and rocket motors for launching are not included.

Launch supplies sold separately. Requires Complete Launch System (Q7700), Quest Q-Jet™ rocket motors with FirstFire Micro™ Initiators and Recovery Wadding. One 9-volt, snap-top, Lithium battery is required for the Q2 Launch Controller - Not Included.

This kit is also available individually (Q1610) and in Value Packs of 25 rockets (Q5595).

Recommended for ages 10 to adult. Direct adult supervision is suggested for those under 12 years of age when building or flying model rockets.

Sophia ★★★★★

My daughter's 4H club had a blast with these; the pack of 12 meant each kid got their own rocket to build and launch. Assembly was straightforward enough for the younger ones with some help, and the flights got surprisingly high for such a simple kit.

Samuel ★★★★★

Took these out with a group of 8 kids last Saturday and the 12-pack meant every child got their own launch without anyone fighting over turns. The rockets held up well through multiple flights, even after a couple of hard landings on the grass.

Matthew ★★★★★

I bought this pack for an after-school club, and having 12 rockets in one box made it so we didn’t have to share during launches. The assembly was straightforward, and each one flew great on the first try.
