The AeroTech Reloadable Motor System RMS is an aluminum cased reusable motor in kit form that is assembled by the user. You will need AeroTech RMS-29/40-120 motor hardware to build and complete the motor for many reliable flights. Motor hardware is available separately in a complete set, and also as individual parts. Important: Mid Power RMS reload kits are not compatible with High Power RMS products. This RMS motor reload utilizes RCSs exclusive Mojave Green™ aerospace grade composite propellant formulation, which produces a brilliant green exhaust plume with a moderate amount of smoke. Mojave Green™ motors high density and specific impulse delivers a higher total impulse in each motor size than any other AeroTech propellant.

The AeroTech motor reload kit comes with 1 rocket motor reload. Reload kits include all internal motor components and FirstFire™ Initiators. This AeroTech motor is U.S. mailable with no hazmat fee! The sale of this high power motor to persons under 18 years of age is currently prohibited by federal law. Orders containing this item will not be shipped until proof of age (such as a copy of a driver’s license) is received.

Henry ★★★★★

The casing fits the 29/40-120 hardware perfectly and the reload slides together without any fiddly alignment. Burned it on a clear day and the ejection charge fired right on cue, solid performance for the price.

Hannah K. ★★★★★

Assembly was straightforward once I got the hang of seating the reload into the aluminum casing, and the fit is snug enough that I didn't worry about anything shifting on the pad. The burn was consistent and the delay felt right on the mark for a clean ejection on my second flight.

Amelia S. ★★★★★

The reload kit packed a solid punch for my mid-power rocket; I liked that the instructions were clear enough for a first-time assembly. It burned cleanly and the ejection charge fired right on cue, which made for a satisfying flight.
