This thing took the shock of my rocket's ejection charge like a champ, no fraying after multiple flights. The 8-foot length gives plenty of room for the recovery system to deploy without tangling.

The 3/8-inch thickness is just right—sturdy enough to take the yank of a parachute deployment without feeling overly stiff. Eight feet gives me plenty of length to fold in a Z-pattern, and the cord’s held up across a dozen flights with no fraying at the ends.

My last rocket came down hard on asphalt and this cord took the full snap without a fray. That 3/8 inch thickness gives real peace of mind when the chute deploys. Eight feet is plenty for my mid-size builds.
