AeroTech 29mm Motor Retainer - 19002

Finally a retainer that doesn’t need a hook—screws on smooth and holds the motor snug even after a few flights. The machined aluminum feels solid, and the black anodizing hasn’t scratched or faded yet.

The black anodized finish looks sharp on my rocket, and it fits RMS motors with the built-in thrust ring perfectly. Threading it on took seconds, and I like that it’s solid aluminum, not plastic.

The screw-on threads are buttery smooth, so seating the retainer over the motor’s thrust ring takes no effort at all. I’ve used it with both single-use and reloadable motors, and the black anodized finish still looks sharp after a few launches. This thing just feels solid in hand.
