The forward closure threads on perfectly and seats flush against the motor tube, which made my last two RMS-54 builds worry-free. It's machined cleanly with no burrs, and the extended design gives me that extra bit of confidence when I'm prepping a high-power reload.

Took a few flights with this closure on my 54mm reloads and it held pressure perfectly every time, zero issues with the seal. The threading is clean and the fit into the motor case is snug without needing excessive force to seat it.

The fit on my 54mm reloads is snug and secure, no issues with gas blow-by during my last launch. Only reason it’s not a perfect 5 is I wish the anodizing was a bit thicker to resist scratches from my wrench.
